For a still fairly undiscovered but interesting neighbourhood, this is the place to be. Unknown makes unloved, but in the case of the Entrepothaven this is certainly not true. The neighbourhood may have fewer major attractions than other districts, but it is precisely its hidden gems that make a walk there worthwhile. The Afrikaanderwijk is traditionally known for its port and guest worker community. This can be seen at the Afrikaandermarkt on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Nowadays, the offspring of these migrant workers ensure colourful entrepreneurship in the neighbourhood.
