Bonfim showcases Porto's urban side. Ideal for lovers of architecture and art.
In this neighbourhood, you'll get in touch with Porto's urban side. You'll come across the city's biggest shopping street here, Rua Santa Catarina, as well as the Mercado do Bolhão, where you'll find many typical Portuguese shops such as shoe shops and pastry shops. A little further from the centre is a park where old men sit around playing cards all day, Jardim de São Lázaro. Around Poveiros, you will find many vintage shops in addition to hip cafés. Thanks to the Faculdade das Belas Artes and the scene in Maus Hábitos, among others, Bonfim is an area where Porto's artists like to meet.
