In my opinion, the Bosco Verticale is the most beautiful modern building in the city!
If you love (modern) architecture, this is the place to be. Shoppers also get their fill here. Despite the sleek architecture, the area named after the former gateways Porta Garibaldi and Porta Nuova is very atmospheric, with a park where small events are regularly organised. The district is full of impressive high-rises. From the Bosco Verticale, walk on to the Isola district for cute boutiques and fine restaurants. More towards the centre of Milan, you can go (window) shopping in Piazza Gae Aulenti and Corso Como. Food-lovers head to Piazza XXV and Eataly Smeraldo.
