A vibrant combination of trendy shops, fun eateries and cultural attractions; something for everyone.
Liège's once outdated city centre has undergone a genuine metamorphosis over the past 20 years. Urban ruins have been thoroughly restored and ugly apartment buildings are slowly giving way to more responsible architecture. The district has a refreshing variety of trendy shops and eateries. They are often hidden in the smaller, lesser-known streets that are begging to be discovered. Such as in the little streets of Le Carré, where you can go out 24 hours a day. The city centre is also home to a number of cultural attractions, such as the ultra-modern Cité Miroir and the renovated Opéra Royal de Wallonie.
